You have chosen the mystery genre as your favorite. I'm a fan of the mystery genre. It's fun to curl up on the couch with a good mystery and try to see if I can guess who committed the crime before the author reveals the final ending. Throw in an angry husband, unknown boyfriend, an argument with the boss, a drug pusher, a red herring, a second murder, a nosy neighbor and a surprise secret, and I'm a happy reader. I lean more toward the cozy mystery, though I love a good thriller as long as the murderer isn't too evil.
