For the question, Which personal treasure would you miss most?

You chose family and friends. This can be a huge problem if you go some place and are unable to return home. Even without a portal to another planet, we could find ourselves forced to move because our parents have chosen a new job, you aren't with your friends in your class rooms, or you take on a new job.
It's exciting go to new places, but eventually, you will miss the easy repartee you have with the people that have known you for what seems forever. Have you ever said, "Oh, I should go see Mike?" Only to realize that Mike isn't available for you to see right now. It can be distressing when you're in that mindset.
Well, our band of heroes want to return home to Earth and see their mothers, but they can't because the portal is closed. They must find a way to open the portal if they ever desire to see their high school friends and families.
