Gail Borden Book Fair

I had a fun time at the Gail Borden Library in Elgin, Illinois where they held their first book fair since COVID started. I had shown my first book, Eclipse of the Triple Moons, in 2019 at the book fair. This time I had two books, adding Zita's Revenge to the mix.

It was a fun event with less than fifty authors. I would say one hundred people (potential customers) came into the room where the book fair was held. It was a nice day outside and I don't think there were "extra" people at the library that might have shown up if the day had been unpleasant.

A lot of the walk ins came in to see their author friends or to get that autographed book the author had promised them. Here's a picture (below) of me with my table of books.

I met author Dennis Higgins who does time travel books. He had the table space next to me. He's written 11 books since 2010 and all the visitors commented on how prolific he was.

I didn't sell a lot of books, but I enjoy hanging out with authors and talking about the business of writing.
